What Is Journey?
Many of us have spending a LOT of time with our significant others. It can be a time to grow together, but also a time of tension. Journey offers monthly programs to help strengthen your relationship at any stage, any age, and through any pandemic! This season, our monthly opportunity to focus on your partnership will be virtual, so you can schedule it for a time and place that’s most convenient for you.
Materials will be emailed to all registered couples on the event day. For the spring semester, Journey will be on the following dates:
A special surprise for February will be announced soon and a separate registration link will be added to this page at that time.
If you’d like to learn more about Grow Groups at PWUMC, join Pastor Choongho Kwon for this Q&A Session. You’ll hear more about the Grow Group structure and there will be time for you to ask your questions. Zoom info for this meeting will be sent via email after you register.
Join Walter Bryant, PWUMC music director, for a mini-concert every Wednesday night. With a mix of tunes both religious and secular, plus his trademark wit, you’ll feel like you’re right there at home with him!
Walter does accept requests the day of the event — watch for the promo post on Facebook each Wednesday morning and comment to make your song choice heard!
For February’s Journey, our team is putting together a Subscription Box for Couples designed to help couples connect with each other in a variety of ways! It will include discussion questions, fun activities, a chance to serve together and more! These opportunities can be spread throughout the month and at any time that works for you! Please register by January 27: Only one registration per couple is required.
Box pickup will be on Sunday, February 7 from 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in the lower parking lot.
The Community Care Ministry Team is sponsoring a community webinar focused on “Compassion Fatigue.” Guest speaker Robin Ewy, MS, LPC will be the presenter, guiding the group through what Compassion Fatigue is and how to prevent it. There will be plenty of time for Q&A.
All are welcome to this free event. Be renewed and refreshed, and experience the support of others in the trenches.
