Prom is a super special time for the youth in Pine Ridge. By donating formal wear to the BEAR Project, we are helping students to look and feel their best. Each year, this program services over 300 students annually from Pine Ridge High School, Red Cloud, Porcupine, Allen, Wounded Knee, and other schools surrounding Pine Ridge. During Prom season, the Bear Program Boutique is open extended hours to accommodate the needs of students attending prom so no student in need will go without.

Each year, Platte Woods Church partners with the Pine Ridge BEAR Program to collect donations to support their “Yes to the Dress, Woot Woot to the Suit”. If you have prom dresses, suits, or dress clothing in great shape that you would like to donate to teens in Pine Ridge, you can drop it off in the donation rack in the Gathering Space during worship on March 3, 10, and 17.
