Join us for a four-hour time of gathering together and learning from the teaching of noted author and commentator, Diana Butler Bass. Diana will be sharing with us the themes from her newest book, “Freeing Jesus.” Limited spots are available for this event, which is open to all. Register for the in-person or virtual option below.

“How can you still be a Christian?” This is a question many believers ponder as they wrestle with disappointment and disillusionment in their church and its leadership. But while many Christians have left their churches, they cannot leave their faith behind. “Freeing Jesus” is an invitation to leave the religious wars behind and rediscover Jesus in all his many manifestations, to experience Jesus beyond the narrow confines we have built around him. It renews our hope in faith and worship at a time when we need it most.

Following is the approximate schedule for this workshop:

9:00 am — Doors open

9:30 am-1:00 pm — Event with a short snack break in the middle

• Masks are required for everyone at all times while in the building.
• Due to the concerns of gathering large groups of children from around the community, we will not offer childcare for this event. We encourage parents with young children to register for our virtual option.
