Easter and Thanksgiving Food Boxes

In the fall and spring, PWUMC hosts a food drive and donates food boxes to local families.  On average, we serve more than 100 families during these events.

December Angel Tree

Each year, PWUMC has an Angel Tree during the first weeks of December. The Angel Tree contains Christmas wishes for kids whose families are served by Tri-County Mental Health Services and Hillcrest Transitional Housing. Our Angel Tree wishes from local families traditionally goes up the weekend after Thanksgiving.

*Donations of wrapping paper, sweater boxes, gift bags and scotch tape are also needed and appreciated.

Adopt a Family

Do you know a family that would be blessed by being a part of our “Christmas Adoption” program? If so, let them know that we begin accepting applications in October. For more information,  contact Brandi Molina, director of missionsl

If you or your small group would like to adopt one of these families, please contact Brandi to be put on our list of adopters. Families will be paired up before Thanksgiving.

Christmas Day Shepherd's Run

PWUMC traditionally serves meals to those in our area who work on Christmas Day. Due to Covid-19 in 2020 and 2021, we have served Anita’s Famous Cinnamon Rolls to our community members on Christmas Day as a safe and delicious alternative that also supports local business.
