Community Christmas Meal Delivery
PWUMC traditionally serves meals to those in our area who work on Christmas Day. Due to Covid-19, we will not be hosting a large serve event in the Dining Hall like we have in years past. This year, we will be delivering Anita’s Famous Cinnamon Rolls to our community members on Christmas day as a safe and delicious alternative that also supports local business. If you would like to help us deliver to our community members, please visit our sign-up genius.
December Angel Tree
Each year, PWUMC has an Angel Tree during the first weeks of December. The Angel Tree contains Christmas wishes for kids whose families are served by Tri-County Mental Health Services and Hillcrest Transitional Housing. The gift collection is being organized slightly differently this year and Tri-County has asked for assistance collecting needed household items for the families they serve. Please visit our sign-up genius to choose the gifts you’d like to donate.
These items are being collected from mid-November through December 9th and can be dropped off at the the church on the following dates:
- November 20, 10:00-2:00 (lower south parking lot near missions entrance)
- December 2, 2:00-7:00 p.m. (During Carols and Cocoa event)
- December 6, 10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. (During Curbside Communion-lower south parking lot)
- December 9, 4:30-6:30 p.m. (lower south parking lot near missions entrance)
*Donations of wrapping paper, sweater boxes, gift bags and scotch tape are also needed.

Adopt a Family
Do you know a family that would be blessed by being a part of our “Christmas Adoption” program? If so, let them know that we are collecting applications now through November 18. This year our applications can be filled out electronically and participants can contact Brandi Molina for more information about how to apply.
If you or your small group would like to adopt one of these families, please contact Brandi to be put on our list of adopters. Families will be paired up before Thanksgiving and we will ask that gifts be dropped off in the lower south parking lot on December 6. Once you sign up, you will receive additional information.
