Rejoice In Giving 2024
Platte Woods Church continues the tradition of providing hope and dignity to local families during the Christmas season by equipping them to create their own holiday experience through Rejoice in Giving.
Early Candlelight Christmas Eve
This Christmas season, you are invited to experience the light of Christ, just like you would on Christmas Eve, a little bit early. Maybe you would like to spend time at home with your family. Maybe Christmas Eve is just too hectic for you. Maybe you are leaving your seat on Christmas Eve for a new guest that is looking for a church home. No matter the reason, you have the opportunity to worship with your church family at an alternative time while still experiencing the exact same worship service.

Candlelight Christmas Eve
This is the night that we have been awaiting. You are invited to this holy night of worship. We make space, we take time, for the one beyond space and time. We will sing songs that bring us to Christmas past, hear the story told again, with new ears, and we mark this night with a candle that shines for the world to see.

We find moments of connection but we may find ourselves more isolated as the year comes to a close. As with all things that end, we experience grief. You are invited to draw near to God and one another through this meaningful worship experience at either 1:30 or 6:30 on December 18th.

Rejoice!
Make plans to attend our 2nd annual Rejoice Sunday at Platte Woods Church on Sunday morning, December 15! Attend worship at 9:30 or 11am, and join us for a free pancake breakfast in the dining hall, as well as crafts, games, missions and giving opportunities all around the church building! Come and share in the spirit of the season with your PWC community.
Christmas with Walter
Invite a friend and join us for a heartwarming Christmas concert! Enjoy familiar holiday favorites performed by Walter and friends, filling the winter air with beautiful melodies. Come celebrate the season with us on December 12th at 6:30 PM in the PWC Worship Center!
Trunk R Treat so Others Can Eat
It’s time to Trunk R Treat so Others Can Eat! Kids, come dressed in your favorite costume and bring a food item to donate to our food drive. Trunk R Treat will take place indoors, so no need to worry about the weather! We are collecting the following items this year: canned soup, canned veggies/fruit, spaghetti, white rice, peanut butter, pancake mix, mac and cheese, and instant potatoes.
