Platte Woods Church shares the celebrations, sorrows, and challenges of life with one another in a community of faith. Please let us know how Platte Woods pastors and the Prayer Team can pray with you and how the Care Team can be a help in any way.
Care Team
Care Team Volunteers Participate in the following ministries:
Pray daily for the assigned care-receivers
Contact and/or visit the assigned seniors or homebound congregants
Deliver home communion
Provide meals for those recuperating from surgery
Design and/or send prayer cards
Care Team is operated under the supervision of Platte Woods pastors and Care staff. All Care Team volunteers are trained and certified by the Safe Gathering office of the Missouri Conference of United Methodist Church.
