VICKI KREHBIEL

DIRECTOR OF CARE MINISTRY

Vicki Krehbiel serves as Director of Care Ministry. Vicki has served on staff at PWC since 2002. In her current role she oversees volunteers who offer prayer, connection, and support to our community. Alongside her volunteers, Vicki serves on the G.A.P. (God Answers Prayer) Team, a Hospital Visitation Team, Sunset Ministries Team (Homebound visitation and Bereavement Team), Marriage Mentor Team, and Support Group Leaders' team. She is licensed as a professional counselor, as well as being a National Board-Certified Counselor. She brings her thirty years of professional experience into her training and support of the volunteers who serve on these care teams.

Vicki went through a divorce in her late twenties. Having found comfort in a support group held at a nearby church, Vicki discovered a new sense of compassion for those who are lonely and hurting. Vicki also discovered the awesome promise that God can bring beauty from ashes (Isaiah 61:1-4). It is these lessons she shares with others as she trains volunteers to share their compassion in our community.

In her spare time, Vicki enjoys reading, jigsaw puzzles, and trying to keep up with her teenage grandchildren. Having grown up in Kansas, she enjoys watching tornadoes rather than hiding in the basement from them!
