Isolation & Its Impact on Addiction Webinar

The Community Care Ministry Team is sponsoring a free community webinar focused on “Isolation and Its Impact on Addiction.” Topics will include:

• How the pandemic has given rise to addiction as people find themselves isolated away from healthy routines, support and resources.
• Basics of how someone who has a friend or loved one dealing with addiction can help break them out of isolation with the hope of leading the addict onto a road to recovery

Guest speaker Rev. Laura Murphy will lead the webinar. Laura is a United Methodist pastor and coach who has a heart for helping people find communities of healing.

Joining Laura will be Kelly Greene, a recovering alcoholic who not only has an incredible story of recovery but also works with people on a regular basis to overcome addiction from a faith perspective. You will hear part of Kelly’s story and the good news he shares for those dealing with addiction and seeking help.
