You are invited to experience a taste of Passover. Jesus’ final days to Jerusalem where he will be crucified and buried begin with this meal. We prepare ourselves for Good Friday and Easter by sharing in a simple meal of roast lamb, boiled eggs, haroseth (an apple and nut salad that is a reminder of when the Hebrews were slaves to the Egyptians and forced to make bricks), bread, grape juice, and a seasonal Jewish dessert. We will hear the story as recorded in the Bible, eat together, and then conclude our time with Holy Communion. Reserve your spot online by Wednesday March 21. Children (3 and up) are invited. Reserve childcare (for 2 & under) at firstname.lastname@example.org.
If you are interested in helping prepare the meal, please contact Pastor Nancy.
