Faith In Action is an annual serve event that began at PWUMC in 2005. Each year, hundreds of members, along with family and friends, spend the weekend putting their faith into action by volunteering at various partner locations. FIA projects are designed for all ages and abilities so everyone is able to participate.

The theme for 2019 is SHINE. In the Gospel of John, Jesus is called “the true light, which gives light to everyone.” (John 1:9) Throughout the New Testament, the followers of Jesus are called to be lights in the darkness. Join us as we share the light of Christ with those in our community, city and world!

These specially designated and trained volunteers must be at least 15 years old. If you are interested in being a Green Shirt, please contact Brandi Molina.
