On Monday, November 11, the PWUMC Leadership Council will host “Crucial Conversations.” All are invited to join us at 6:30 p.m. in the Student Center (located directly below the Worship Center).
In preparation for the upcoming discussion about human sexuality and the United Methodist Church at General Conference 2020, we’ll share tips and ideas on how to have conversations with people with whom you disagree. You’ll also have the opportunity to talk with others in small table groups facilitated by church members. As we engage in conversation, we, as individuals and as a church body, have an opportunity to be an example of how we can engage in difficult conversations and model for the world how to respectfully disagree in love.
In addition, Pastor Steve and Pastor Britton will offer their thoughts and perspectives, leading us in conversation about what the Bible says about human sexuality and different interpretations of those texts.
Childcare is available with registration by November 4.
