New Ladies’ Bible Study
Discerning the Voice of God by Priscilla Shirer, Tuesdays-Aug. 29 through Oct. 10, 10:00 a.m. & 6:30 p.m.
A decade ago, Priscilla Shirer authored Discerning the Voice of God, and since then God has continued to grow, teach, and challenge her in her walk with Him. This revised and expanded edition reflects that growth through new stories, illustrations, and exercises. Through 7 sessions, discover the root to clear and daily communication with God—humble obedience. Learn how surrender unlocks His many blessings intended for us, centers us in His will, and helps us discern His voice in everyday life. Cost for the book is $13.
10:00-11:30 Childcare is available for preschool children with a reservation. Contact Cindy Breon to register for class and childcare.

The Word Alive with Lysa, September 22 & 23
Lysa Terkeurst is an inspiring speaker who is the president of Proverbs 31 ministry, popular speaker for Women of Faith and many other women’s conferences. She has also written many books and Bible studies. Lysa and Ellie Holcomb will be at Raytown Baptist church in the fall.  We are taking a group and will have shuttles to take us.  Tickets are $69. Ladies’ Day of Renewal
Enjoy a special day of learning, fellowship, worship and fun. Coming Saturday, October 21, 9:00-3:00.

Prayer Shawl Ministry
Mondays at 6:30 p.m. or Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m.
Come knit or crochet a prayer shawl while enjoying fellowship with other women. They are glad to teach you to knit or crochet. The shawls are given to people who are experiencing a difficult time in their lives to remind them that they are not alone. You are welcome to come anytime.

Friday Morning Moms’ Group
Fridays, 9:15 – 11 a.m. (when the Park Hill School District is in session).
The Friday Morning Moms’ Group is open to all moms! We are a Bible study, prayer and support group. Free childcare is provided (reservation required). Contact Beth Fleck to register childcare needs. This group resumes Friday, August 18.

(M3) Moms, Mamas, and Mothers Group
Monthly meetings (during the school year); first Tuesdays from  7-8:30 p.m.
All moms (working, not working, older kids, younger kids) are invited. Moms are welcome to bring a snack to share, and friends are welcome! Moms, Mamas, Mothers … are you looking to rediscover your purpose? Could you use a little support and encouragement? Whether your children are newborns or decades old, you’re invited to M3 on Tuesday, September 5, 7 to 8:30 in the Dining Hall. RSVP by Aug. 30 to Mandy Phillips and register for childcare. There is a cost of $5 to cover the cost of craft supplies.

These one-night events are geared toward sharing tips and techniques to make the most out of your personal Bible study time. We will share, learn and discuss topics including verse chaining, topical studies, word studies and more!

Reboot Your Joy
Do you sometimes remember the good old days when life was simple and less stressful? Join us for a delightful evening of laughter, joy: a time to set aside the weight of the world and just have fun!

Pep Rallies
Pep Rallies are designed to encourage and cheer women on in our spiritual journey. Topics will vary, but the purpose is always to encourage us to continue moving toward a meaningful, fresh relationship with God that impacts our lives and our world.

Prayer Connections
If you are interested in praying with others check out these opportunities. Prayer Pods are forming, the Cancer Prayer Team is committed to pray for people with cancer and their families and caregivers daily, and the Pastor Prayer Teams pray regularly for the pastors.
