Families are invited to participate in this new worship experience. We’ll have a light breakfast, followed by singing a few Christmas worship songs. Following a short video and the sharing of the story of Jesus’ birth, brought to life by Cindy Breon, kids will have an opportunity to make a meaningful craft that will help them retell the story of Jesus’ birth. To conclude, we’ll join together with our battery-operated candles and and sing the traditional Christmas favorite, “Silent Night.”
If you’re looking for a way to worship on Christmas Eve with your young (elementary age and younger) children, we hope you’ll join us for this special event. It’s designed to be meaningful in a way that will impact you AND your kids!
During the school year, PWUMC offers Couples’ Nights Out once a month (usually on the first Friday) to give couples an opportunity for an evening to themselves.
Each CNO starts with a short program (usually 30 minutes or less) followed by a date night where they discuss what they’ve learned.
We are excited to announce our Couples Nights Out program for the 2018/2019 season. Our study is based on the book “Sheet Music: Uncovering the Secrets of Sexual Intimacy in Marriage” by Dr. Kevin Leman. Dr. Leman offers frank information from a Christian perspective along with practical suggestions to improve intimacy. For more information and to order a copy for yourselves look up “Sheet Music” by Dr. Kevin Leman.
Cost is $10 per couple each month when registered 10 days before the event. (Reservations after that will be charged a $20 late fee). This covers the adult program AND childcare. Childcare check-in is available starting at 6:15 p.m., with pickup by 9 p.m.
