Hillcrest Ministries Update
Hello Dear Friends,
Michelle, a resident sponsored by First Christian Church-Platte City, will be celebrating her graduation on June 19. There will be a dinner at 6:00 p.m. at PWUMC, after which we will hear from our two graduates, Tarrey from South Platte and Michelle from Platte City.
Just a little update on the properties:
At South Platte, things were really humming on Saturday the 27th. A new A/C and flooring were installed, painting, landscaping, blinds being hung, I started to count the people, but I lost track, forgive me. Lots of aqua shirts, but the nametags kept falling off -- too much sweat! IT WAS EXCITING! Kept Tony hopping.
Next weekend Platte City gets the works! Pete and Danielle (our spectacular RM) started to give me the names of all who will be here and which churches they are coming from, but I could not get my head around it. Platte City is getting insulation in the attics, new energy efficient windows and doors from The Hayes Energy Company through KC Housing and Community Development.
