Wednesday Evenings at PWUMC

Evening Meal
Wednesday at the Woods dinners are a great way for the family to come together for a meal before going to various studies and activities. WATW is offered each week from 5-6:30 p.m. in the dining hall. Join us for great food and fellowship. Cost is $5 for adults, $4 for seniors (60+) and $3 for children ages 4-12 (family maximum of $15).

April 10: Cheese Ravioli Lasagna, Salad, Garlic Bread Sticks, Cake
April 17: Hamburger Cheese Noodle Casserole, Corn, Salad, Dinner Roll and Brownie 
          Refrigerator Cake
April 24: Chicken Spectacular, Salad, Dinner Roll and Strawberry Cream Cheese Cobbler
May 1: Grilled Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Cookies and Ice Cream 


Adult Activities
Throughout the night, there are multiple adult study opportunities. In addition, the Wesleyan Choir, Handbells and Orchestra practice on Wednesday evenings and would enjoy your participation.

W.O.W. Children’s Activities
Platte Woods UMC offers a variety of programs for children of all ages on Wednesday evenings. Following are some of the programs available:

  • Kids’ Krafts (geared to preschool/younger elementary) Children make a new craft each week
  • Dance Troupes (K-6th grade) Children are invited to learn worship through dance
  • Choirs (4 yrs. old-5th grade)
  • Bible Study (K-5th grades)

Professional childcare is available from 5:30-8:30 p.m. each week. More information is available on the W.O.W. page.
