Ginger began her appointment as an associate pastor at Platte Woods United Methodist Church in 2008. Her primary focus is on Congregational Care and Prayer Ministry. Ginger considers it a blessing to be able to spend her days visiting and connecting with the church, leading the many prayer ministries that PWC offers, and reaching out to helping others grow deeper in their faith. Ginger is currently doing Course of Study work through Saint Paul School of Theology.

Relatively new to pastoral ministry, Ginger considers her first and highest calling to be that of wife and mother. She and her husband, Kent, grew up in the Northland and are raising four sons: Bret, Tyler, Quinn and Kyle. Her spare time is usually spent at some sort of ballgame or enjoying family gatherings. Her favorite moments are spent with loved ones seated around their family table. Likewise, Ginger’s theology focuses on the communal aspects of our faith family – central to that theology is the inclusivity of all our brothers and sisters in faith. Her passion is helping her family relate well to those not yet seated at the table.
