Prayer Calendars
The issues of prayer are endless. Sometimes this can overwhelm people and even stifle their motivation to pray. Platte Woods Church helps to counteract this feeling. A calendar designating a daily prayer focus is provided for the church monthly to guide church members in praying for the ministries of the church, the staff and the community. A person can participate in this ministry at any time and at any place. People find it more manageable to pray faithfully and fervently for a specific issue at a specific time. In addition, the churchwide focus on daily concerns unites our hearts and claims the promise found in Matthew 18:19: "Truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything you ask for, it will be done for you by my Father in heaven."
