Safety Procedures
Because we care deeply about the welfare and safety of every child and youth who participate in the programs and ministries provided by PWUMC, we take seriously our responsibility to do everything in our power to see that no physical, emotional or sexual abuse occurs in any ministry setting sponsored by PWUMC. We recognize every person as a child of God who is created in the image and likeness of God. Therefore, we have a strong commitment to make the church a safe place for children and youth. Supervision policies and procedures are in place.
The PWUMC "Because We Care" policy includes having all adult volunteers screened and registered.
