Platte Woods United Methodist Church

Parents' Day Out

The Platte Woods United Methodist Church PDO program is in its 42nd year of providing quality childcare to children ages 6 weeks to kindergarten (through 4th grade in the summer). The PDO program fits the needs of children of various ages. From our nursery care through the school-age summer program, you can be assured that your child will receive care in a professional, clean environment. As your child grows, the educational opportunities at PDO increase. During the mornings, teachers share in crafts, reading and other fun learning exercises with their students. Afternoons are spent in free play, allowing children to have fun and develop their social skills.

Besides offering professional childcare in a comfortable, age-appropriate and clean environment, PDO offers something many daycares cannot: flexibility. The PDO program does not require commitments for particular periods of time: instead, your child can attend whenever it fits into your schedule. Need to run errands, volunteer at an older child's school, or just have some "alone" time? Drop your child off that morning (no reservations required, except in the nursery) and know that while you're accomplishing your goals, your child is well cared for and having a great time. PDO is a state-inspected facility.
