Platte Woods United Methodist Church’s Legacy Society (Legacy) has been established to provide you the opportunity to commit a gift during your lifetime that will preserve our life-changing ministry for generations to come. The objective of Legacy is to honor a dedicated group of members and friends of the church who have chosen to include the church in their estate plans. 

To Join the Legacy Society
You can become a member of Legacy by notifying the church in writing that you have a gift plan for Platte Woods United Methodist Church. A deferred gift provision of any amount qualifies you for membership. Your gift may be unrestricted for the broad benefit of the church or designated for any of the church’s programs or initiatives.

"Leaving a Legacy of Faith and Love" Event
The Legacy Society is hosting "Leaving a Legacy of Faith and Love," an evening of learning, to assist you in your estate planning form a biblical perspective, on Thursday, May 27, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. in the dining hall. Appetizers and desserts will be served.
