Justice, Peace and Environment Group

In keeping with the Methodist tradition of Christian engagement with society, JPEG focuses on contemporary issues related to God's call for justice by:

  1. Seeking to understand God's call for justice.
  2. Studying the root causes of hardship and disparity.
  3. Making information available to PWUMC congregation.
  4. Finding ways for PWUMC to respond to community needs.
  5. Advocating for constructive social change.
  6. Working in cooperation with other congregations.
